Format Details
Before each game, the players will dice-off (evens/odds, or competing d20 rolls). The winner of the dice-off decides whether to be player A or player B.Bring 2, Strike 1
- Player A will "strike and pick second" and player B will "pick first".
- The player who strikes and picks second may choose one of the four armies and ban it from play in this game. The strike may be declined.
- The player who picks first then chooses one army of the (three or four) armies to play.
- The player who strikes and picks second then chooses one army of the remaining (two or three) armies to play.
Scouting Party
- At the beginning of placement, player B chooses to begin forward placement first or second. Player A then chooses which start zone they prefer.
- During forward placement, players take turns placing one one card of units on the board.
- Figures placed during this phase cannot be placed within 4 spaces of your opponent's start zone.
- Squad figures must be placed within three clear sight spaces of all other squad figures placed that turn.
- You may not place figures on glyphs or adjacent to enemy figures.
- Players may continue taking turns placing figures this way as long as the total figures placed this way does not exceed 8 figures or 175 points (partial card scoring).
- Players may also pass to decline placement, but may not choose to resume forward placement after that.
- You may forward place some of the figures from a card and reserve the rest for placement in the regular start zone placement phase, but if you do so you must pass on subsequent forward placement turns.
- After both players are done placing figures this way, the players place their remaining figures in their start zones, starting with player B. If an army has more than 18 figures, decisions on which figures to sit are made at this time.
- At the beginning of the game, the player who placed second during the forward placement phase gets a +6 bonus to their opening initiative.
Alternate Win Condition
In addition to a traditional elimination victory, this event will also allow an alternative Objective Zone win condition.- Each map will have at least one "Key Point." The Key Point and all hexes within three spaces of that Key Point are called an Objective Zone. These Objective Zones will be used for scoring.
- Objective Zones are scored at the end of every round starting in the third round. Each player receives one objective points for every Objective Zone your army controls.
- For your army to control an Objective Zone, you must have more army cards of figures in the Objective Zone (on or within three spaces of the Key Point) than your opponent does.
- If either player has at least 6 objective points at the end of a round, the game ends and whoever has the most points wins.
- If a game goes to time, each objective zone point will be worth 50 points. Each player will add these points to the partial card value of the figures they have left on the board when the game goes to time.

$10 entry fee! Each attendee will get a promo figure if they have arrived at the store from Renegade by the day of the event.
NOTE: Multiplayer maps frequently have only 14 or 18 hexes of start zone spaces. If your army will use more than 14 hexes, be sure to bring extra sand, rock, or grass tiles to add to the back of your startzone.
Initiative
Each round, whoever rolls highest for initiative (counting all bonuses) will go first. Each round, clockwise vs counter-clockwise will be randomly determined by rolling a single attack die: on a skull, go clockwise, on any other side, go counter-clockwise.Scoring
- Four player games will end after 3 rounds or 75 minutes.
- Three player games will end after 4 rounds or 75 minutes.
Control Points
Control points are scored at the end of every round. Each player receives a variable number of points for every Objective Zone their army controls:- In the first round, Objective Zones are worth 1 point each.
- In the second round, they are worth 2 points each.
- In the third and subsequent rounds, they are worth 3 points each.
For your army to control an Objective Zone, you must have more army cards of figures in the Objective Zone (on or within two spaces of the Key Point) than any of your opponents do.
Example:
At the end of the second round if Objective Zone A has two Capuan gladiators and Crixus from firewings's army (that's two army cards), three warriors of Ashra and Syvarris from Zephyr's army (that's two army cards), Moltenclaw, Iron Golem, and Raelin from Capt. K'nuckles's army (that's three army cards), then Capt. K'nuckles controls objective zone A and gets 2 victory points.Dungeon Defender
A player scores 1 victory point for each wound they put on another player's Crystal. Before any figures are placed at the start of the game, an opponent will place your Crystal in your start zone. On odd-numbered tournament rounds, the player to your left will place your Crystal. On even-numbered tournament rounds, the player to your right will place your Crystal.
The crystal is a destructible object with the following stats and powers: 6 life 4 defense
BLINDING DEFLECTION
When the crystal is attacked by a figure that is at least 4 spaces away, it rolls 2 additional defense dice.WEAKENING POWER AURA
Figures adjacent to the crystal roll one fewer defense die.April Kill Em All
