This month we are doing a Spin on the February Teams Format. Teams Quad Pod. Each player prepares 2 separate armies. Armies cannot share the same figures, not even with your teammates armies. Once the round is paired players will roll the D20. The highest roll may choose to pick first or defer. The Team that does not pick first may Ban 1 of the 8 armies, preventing anyone from choosing that army. Here is an example of how it would go if Team 1 is picking first: Team 2 Bans an army. (optional) Team 1 picks an army. Team 2 picks an army. Team 1 Bans an army. (optional) Team 2 picks an army. Team 1 picks an army. Once the armies have been chosen, the team will decide between themselves who gets to control each of their chosen armies. • 300 Standard points • 11 figure limit per army • VC (C3V & SoV) is allowed. Let’s prep for new destructible objects by destroying some! Dungeon Defenders is a fun format where you and your opponent each have a Crystal in your start zones. Your goal is to destroy your opponent’s crystal before they destroy yours! The crystal’s army card and FAQs for destructible objects will be posted in the Discussion channel of our Discord server. Army Requirements - 415 points (delta) - 17 figure limit - VC figures allowed - Ogre Castle Crasher BANNED If your game goes to time, the player who has inflicted more wounds on their opponent’s crystal will win. If there is still a tie, the player with the most points remaining will win. Before placing figures in each game, you and your opponent will roll off to see who will place a crystal first. You will place the crystal in your OPPONENT’S start zone. Contemporary Pick Your Poison Bring 2 armies: - 400 points - 15 figure limit - Rule of 12 (you may have 12 of the same Common or fewer) - Contemporary only - Armies cannot share figures - Figures are legal on or after their street dates At the beginning of each game, you and your opponent will have 2 minutes to secretly choose which of your opponent’s two armies they will play. You will reveal your choices at the same time. Each round, the head judge will shuffle each Treasure Glyph from the pool and place two on the map. Treasure Glyph trap: If you roll a 1-5, your hero takes 1 wound, but may still pick up the glyph.
