8 Card Draft
Contemporary Format. Renegade Points.
500 pts, 18 figure limit after Drafting.
Bring 8 cards worth of units.
For common units, you need to provide at least 2 copies of cards in case they are drafted split between both players.
Players roll the D20; high roll may choose to pick first or defer.
Draft in a 1-2-2-etc pattern (P1 drafts 1 army card, P2 drafts 2 army cards, P1 drafts 2 army cards, etc.).
Each copy of a common card is a separate pick.
Armies are not placed until all units have been drafted.
Players draft until they have 8 cards again. Then secretly build their army to the point total/figure limit, and reveal simultaneously. Then begin play as normal.
Players build their army to 500 pts, 18 figure limit.
