Join us at Gamers Guild North Phoenix for the Heroscape Alliance War Tournament! Heroscape staff members will be visiting and bringing exclusive Alliance War prize items for every attendee! At the end of 2026, the faction with the most wins will have a bespoke prize item designed and released by Renegade Game Studios as well as a major narrative win in Heroscape: Secrets of the Citadel lore! VC and GI Joe are allowed, Marvel is not allowed. 24 figure limit, no hex limit. You must choose one of the four alliances in the story; your army must include only figures from your chosen alliance with a minimum of 220 points in at least two affiliations in the alliance. Unaffiliated units are wild and may be included in any alliance, and all Valkrill units are banned. New Alliance: Jandar/Utgar/GI Joe Clockwork Combine: Einar/Volarak Umbral Covenant: Vydar/Revna/COBRA Verdant Pact: Ullar/Aquilla There is a $10 entry fee which can be paid at the door, or in advance on Gamers Guild's website. Prizes: Participation: 1x set of four plastic, foil-stamped Army Cards for Isamu, Agent Carr, Syvarris, and Eel & F'Fuoh; 1x enamel pin representing your faction of choice: The New Alliance, Verdant Pact, Clockwork Combine, or Umbral Covenant Top 1: 1x full set of enamel pins, and claims their win for their faction of choice Top 3: Store credit based on number of entrants: 1st 50%; 2nd 30%; 3rd 20% Matchmaking: We will play Swiss rounds until there is exactly one player with 0 losses. If that becomes impossible, the top 2-4 will advance to playoffs (# of matches depends on # of participants). Ranking based on: 1) W/L record. 2) Head to Head. 3) Strength of Schedule (SoS) 4) Dice off. New and Old players are welcome! You may borrow day of the event as well, but not everyone brings extra figures with them, so the sooner you ask, the better.
