Squad figures do not take individual turns, so they will not be allowed to use overextend. Only multi-life heroes may use Overextend. Each hero may only Overextend once per round. Multiple heroes may overextend during one Order Marker (ex. Ornak flips OM1. Krug takes a turn and Overextends. Marcu takes a turn and Overextends). Powers that state "after revealing an Order Marker..." cannot be used on the Overextend turn (ex: if Kurrok takes a turn to Summon Elemental and then Overextends, he cannot use Master of the Elements). When using powers that state "instead of taking a turn with X, take a turn with Y..." X cannot Overextend (ex. Kato Katsuro cannot Overextend after using Kato Katsuro's Command. He could however take a normal turn to move into position, and then Overextend to use Kato Katsuro's Command).
