Heroscape Event Format: Join us at Game Masters for Heroscape! We will be holding a tournament running from 11 am to 5 pm that will last 4 rounds. The format will be a combination event. During each game you will be scoring points for objectives determined at the start of the game and for destroying your opponents figures. The players with the most points at the end of 4 games will be the ranked winners. Top 8 players will earn a Promo Figure! The possible objectives are as follows: At the end of the game, if you have more points of figures on the battlefield than your opponent you score the difference in points between your two armies. (This will be true at the end of all games) At the start of each game the players will roll 1 D6 twice to determine two other objectives that will score points. 1-2: Capture the cursed Artifact. Place a Treasure glyph on the board between the start zones. Holding this glyph at the end of the game scores 100 points. The hero who holds the glyph moves 2 fewer spaces and rolls 1 fewer attack dice. Roll for trap every time the glyph is picked up. 3-4: Key point. Place a key point (glyph of brandar) on the map. Players score 20 points at the end of every round that they control a key point. To control a key point you must have more Cards worth of figures within 2 spaces of the key point than any other player. 5-6: Regicide. Both players select a hero to be their “king”. Players score the opponents chosen kings value of points for destroying it. King's roll 1 additional attack die when making a normal attack and counts as 2 cards worth of figures for the purposes of key points. Since you are rolling 2 D6 it is possible to roll the same result twice. In which case, you place a second treasure glyph, a second key point, or choose a second “king” (“queen”)? After 4 games points are totaled and ranks are given. Armies are 550 pointed using standard pricing with renegade updates. The army builder will not enforce renegade price updates so please double check your army before the event.
