Heroes of Valhalla Tournament – Where Everyone Wins! Join us for the Heroes of Valhalla Tournament, an exciting Heroscape competition where every player is guaranteed a chance to win prizes! Whether you come for the competition or the rewards, this event is built to grow our community and keep the battles fierce and fun. Tournament Entry & Raffle System $10 Entry Fee – Your entry fee includes one raffle ticket, putting you in the prize pool automatically! Win More Raffle Tickets 1st Place – Earn 3 extra raffle tickets. 2nd Place – Earn 2 extra raffle tickets. 3rd Place – Earn 1 extra raffle ticket. How the Raffle Works Prizes Will Be 100% Original Heroscape – This includes both new releases and classic figures. Vote on the Prizes! – We’ll decide together which Heroscape expansion boxes to raffle. Multiple Prizes Each Event – We’ll have at least 2-3 prizes, possibly more, depending on participation and funding. Winning is Random, but Extra Entries Help – The more raffle tickets you have, the better your chances, but everyone has a shot at winning! Entries Roll Over! – If you don’t win, your tickets stay in the pool for future tournaments, meaning your odds improve over time. Convoy Army Size: 260 Delta points, 10-figure limit Game Length: 4 rounds, 2x25 minutes per Round Banned armies: mezzo demons Setup Players roll a d20 to determine roles. The high roller chooses to be the Defender or Attacker for the first round. After the first round, roles switch. The Convoy begins in the Attacking Player’s Start Zone. Gameplay Overview The Attacking Player controls the Convoy, but it is not affected by any other abilities from friendly or enemy figures. At the end of each set of Order Markers (OMs), the Convoy moves 2 spaces if the Attacking Player has equal to or more figures adjacent to the Convoy compared to the Defender. Respawning Rules At the end of the round, before applying map effects or glyph effects: All Destroyed figures are respawned in their respective Start Zones. All special markers and army abilities are reset when figures are respawned. Victory Conditions The goal is to move the Convoy as far as possible into or toward the Defender's Start Zone. Scoring Points: The Attacking Player earns 3 points if the Convoy progresses farther than the Defender's start zone or reaches it. In the event both players achieve this or progress the Convoy an equal distance, both players receive 2 points. Special Rules Convoy Movement: The Convoy moves 2 spaces at the end of each set of Order Markers if the Attacking Player has equal to or more figures adjacent to the Convoy compared to the Defender. For adjacency purposes, a double-spaced figure counts as 2 spaces next to the Convoy. The Convoy: Cannot attack, be attacked, or be destroyed. Ignores engagement due to its Stealth Flying ability.
