This is a casual event with no entry fees or prizes. The entire event will consist of two rounds, with the format mirroring the upcoming North Denver Event, giving players an opportunity to test one or more of their army ideas. Players will be allowed to bring two armies and may choose to reuse or swap their army during the second round of the event. NOTE: Multiplayer maps frequently have only 14 or 18 hexes of start zone spaces. If your army will use more than 14 hexes, be sure to bring extra sand, rock, or grass tiles to add to the back of your startzone. Scoring Four player games will end after 3 rounds or 75 minutes. Three player games will end after 4 rounds or 75 minutes. Whoever has the most victory points at that time wins the game. Control Points Control points are scored at the end of every round. Each player receives a variable number of points for every Objective Zone their army controls: In the first round, Objective Zones are worth 1 point each. In the second round, they are worth 2 points each. In the third and subsequent rounds, they are worth 3 points each. Each map will have at least one "Key Point" per player. The Key Point and all hexes within 2 hexes of that Key Point are called an Objective Zone. These Objective Zones will be used for scoring (see below). For your army to control an Objective Zone, you must have more army cards of figures in the Objective Zone (on or within two spaces of the Key Point) than any of your opponents do. Example: At the end of the second round if Objective Zone A has two Capuan gladiators and Crixus from firewings's army (that's two army cards), three warriors of Ashra and Syvarris from Zephyr's army (that's two army cards), Moltenclaw, Iron Golem, and Raelin from Capt. K'nuckles's army (that's three army cards), then Capt. K'nuckles controls objective zone A and gets 2 victory points. Dungeon Defender A player will score 1 point for each wound they inflict on an enemy crystal and 1 additional point if they destroy the crystal. Before any figures are placed at the start of the game, an opponent will place your Crystal in your start zone. On odd-numbered tournament rounds, the player to your left will place your Crystal. On even-numbered tournament rounds, the player to your right will place your Crystal. The crystal is a destructible object with the following stats and powers: 6 life 4 defense BLINDING DEFLECTION When the crystal is attacked by a figure that is at least 4 spaces away, it rolls 2 additional defense dice. WEAKENING POWER AURA Figures adjacent to the crystal roll one fewer defense die.
