LOCATION: Gamers Guild AZ, NPHX location (1818 West Bell Road; Phoenix, AZ 85023) 10:30 AM Check In. 11:00 AM Start Time. Each player will bring ONE pre-picked 560 VC DELTA point army. GI Joe is allowed, Marvel is not allowed. 24 figure limit, no hex limit. Your army must have at least 4 different affiliations (aka Valkyrie General/GI Joe/Cobra) represented, and each of those 4 affiliations must have at least 110 points worth of figures. THE BUILDER CANNOT ENFORCE THIS, so please ensure your army fits the conditions before submitting. The Gathering Storm releases will be legal for this tournament (Ranoc Vipers, Elites of Ullar, Chain Gruts, Ramosaur Rider, Syvarris 2.0). Major Q9, Nilfheim, and Quahon are banned by technicality due to making armies unable to fulfill the minimum points per affiliation. MATCH PLAY All matches will have a time limit of 60 minutes. If both players have figures left, the tie breaker will be decided by points left over, taking into account destroyed squad figures and wounded heroes (eg, 2 festering honor guard alive will give you 24 points). If there is still a tie, winner will be decided by a dice off. MAPS: (TBD) Maps will have 0-3 glyphs. Glyph Pool: TBD Matchmaking: 4-5 Matches (Swiss) Top 2-4 will advance to playoffs (# of matches depends on # of participants). Ranking based on: 1) W/L record. 2) Head to Head. 3) Strength of Schedule (SoS) 4) Dice off. RULES: 1. Players must arrive (and be ready to play) by 10:30 AM or could be subject to a forfeit of round 1. SHOW UP EARLY TO CHECK IN! 2. All disputes (Rules, line of sight, dice rolling) will be resolved by the TD (GamerLegion) 3. All players must use their submitted army throughout the tournament. 4. The tournament may last 5-6 rounds (60 min each) so please be prepared before entering. 5. Have fun!!
