What: A Heroscape tournament in the capital city!
Format: Cube Draft
Entry: $10 fee
Prizes: All entrants will receive an exclusive Decker the Burrowbreaker miniature! Additionally, top players are eligible to pick from among various Heroscape-themed prizes including the upcoming Raelin v4 miniature, alt art cards and HS merch from StuffbyHags as well as Mana Games support. If you want to bring a prize for the table, please do! But it’s not necessary.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure a timely start.
Format: Cube Draft
There are no point or figure restrictions for this format. Players will not need to bring any army cards or figures--those will all be provided! Players will be grouped into sets of 4 and assigned to a 28-card pool. Players will be given a hand of 7 random cards and will draft one card before passing the remaining 6 to the player on their left. Then they will select one of the 6 cards in their hand and pass the remaining 5, and so on. This continues until each player has a set of 7 army cards. Before each game, players will simultaneously choose 5 of their 7 army cards to play against an opponent from the same pool with no point or figure limit for that game. 2 rounds will be played within each pool; after that, players will be grouped into new pools, draft from that, and then play 2 more games from that pool. As determined by player registration, it may be necessary to form “cubes” of 6 players. In that case, 2 packs of 7 cards each will be added to Cubes 1 and 2 as noted in the cubes list.
