At the beginning of the game, before placing order markers, each player rolls the D20. The player that rolls higher chooses one army card in their army and moves all corresponding figures (including multiple squads of commons, if possible) up to 4 spaces each. The opponent then does the same. The players alternate until all figures have been moved (or declined to move).
